I started my journey in the healthcare field wanting to learn medical coding, but it soon expanded into the clinical setting of healthcare. I attended pueblo community college and earned my medical coding certificate with my associate degree in health information management. I am currently a Colorado licensed EMT, with a Colorado IV Certification, a nationally registered emergency medical technician (NREMT), nationally certified child passenger safety technician (CPST), a BLS Provider with American Heart Association, and received a bloodborne pathogen certification.
